[RC] Re another treeless saddle - Vicki Austin

Carolyn, my husband had one of these, they are really nice and soft, however if your horse has a back bone it will irritate worse than the sport saddle.  It is very soft and flexible, no stiffness at all as the sport endurance has.  We sold it, as Rons horse has a back bone and after a four hour ride she had a swollen lump the size of half a football,  I sold it that day and got him a saddle with a tree.  It may work for a horse with a truley meatty aback and a light rider but .................. You get what you pay for I am afraid.  Vicki Austin
