You
can change the width of the top bar in your easy ride stirrups yourself, I did.
It's only a bolt inside a section of PVC pipe. Just remove the cap nut from one
end and pull out the old bolt and section of pipe. Select a bolt of needed
length and diameter, cut the pipe down with a hack saw or start with a new piece
of pipe and trim it to length and reassemble the stirrups. My husband pointed
out to me that the black pipe is not common PVC pipe but a differnet grade that
you will see used for electrical conduit use. Still easy to find at home
improvement centers.
