[RC] [RC] tagalong novice crew volunteer wanting advice and experience - Maureen A. Fager

    Hi Charles,
I volunteered at many rides before I was able to ride in Endurance rides. Don't consider yourself too much of a novice to be usefull as a volunteer at a ride. Call the Ride Manager of a local ride and volunteer to help. Let them know you have never been to a ride and want to find out what it's about and they will be glad to put you to work! :-)
The job I like best is Vet Seceratary, or Scribe as the job is sometimes called. The vets can show and tell you alot, and you get to see what goes on at a vet check, and maybe even meet some of the folks from Ridecamp. Don't be shy, jump right in, you'll be glad you did!!

    Happy Trails,
    Maureen
    Reno, NV
