RE: [RC] [RC] Wintec Pro Endurance stirrup rigging - Maureen A. Fager

    Hi Mike,
The Big Horn is an improvement (for me at least :-) over the Wintec. My F & E is an improvement over the BH. What I have found interesting about the F & E is, it has an adjustable tree and the panels move with the horese's movement and I have ridden several different horses with it. My own horse is very smooth strided, and the saddle works great on her, but on a couple of other horses I ride, which are not smooth movers, and I have found the F & E to accentuate their movement so much that I have began riding them with the BH again. The F & E just is uncomforatable on these horses as I get thrown around the saddle too much. The BH with it's rigid tree seems to dampen this movement. I do get some lower back pain and stiff knees in the BH, but I don't get the pain in my nether regions like I did in the Wintec.

It is interesting how different our experiences are in the same saddles isn't it?

    Cheers,
    Maureen
    Reno, NV
