[RC] Algae in water tanks - Randy and Cheryl Winter

Are snails more resistant to fly spray getting in the water than goldfish?
We had goldfish in our tank and when we wiped certain fly spray on the the
horses faces it must have gotten in the water and killed the goldfish. Or
are some fly sprays less toxic for this. Or was there probably some other
reason for the goldfish dying, not related to the fly spray at all?
