Ridecamp: [RC] different saddle before ride

Warning! Saddle fit post below...redundancy may have occurred!

Anyway I've decided to use a different saddle rather than try and cure poor 
fit with the SKito. Jenni's back has too many white hairs growing in for me 
to ever put this saddle on his back again.

Problem--I have a ride this weekend. I borrowed a treeless Icelandic saddle 
from a friend and plan to ride in that. Today I'm doing a long ride to see if 
it's gonna work out. If it doesn't fit I will have to pull from the ride.

Any caveats about using a "new" saddle before a ride? I notice it sits me 
differently so I am sure I'm gonna be sore. (I'm only doing 25 miles).
