Re: [RC] Bump on chin - Kristene Smuts

    Hi Judith

Ibn - my 10 yo stallion - came to me with a bump under his chin, just where the curb chain would go. In fact, the curb fits snugly in the groove made by the bump and the bulge of his lower lip. It is also hard and doesn't interfere with his chewing or anything. I believe it is like a splint - a calcification of the bone due to an injury. Just don't know about the speed of the development, though. Somebody else have more info?

    Kristene
