    [RC] Almost a Wreck -- Skito Slipping -- A Thought - RISTREE

Hubby's Skito did the same thing, sort of worked it's way out as he rode.

I headed to WalMart (where one can purchase what is needed to rig up just about anything, including Skitos) and bought some 1.5 inch wide velcro with no adhesive on the back.  Sewed a 12" or so section to the area where the D-ring of the saddle sits, and another where the back edge of the saddle flap sits, and voila, just velcro them together over the saddle's billets.  Is staying together so far, and I'm not much of a sewing genius, so it's an easy fix.

Good luck.  The Skito seems to be worth it for hubby's horse and the same velcro set up works for us on a number of different saddles/horses.
