Gosh, I am blushing! But you are a very astute
observer, cool I am. Humble, nah.

Okay, On the Oregon Defense. This State is not
only beautiful, but has some of the nicest people and the most breathtaking
places to ride. I have traveled this entire State from Corner to Corner and all
places in between. I can never ever see myself leaving this Great State.

I am really shocked and saddened that Bandit
Springs might be taken away. I have not ridden there, but know the area and from
what the endurance riders that I know of have all said it is one of their
favorite rides. I plan on contacting the Forestry and seeing what's up. I hope
other's will do the same.  I have several friends in the Butte Falls
Forestry Station that have become good friends since I lost Gigi up at the
mountain, and I will call one of them and get the scoop. If there is anything
that can be done, I will list it on RC and hopefully we can make a
difference.

Heidi just left Oregon and I feel that is her
loss. But until this "ongoing" thread came up, I don't recall ever hearing any
BS coming from the Oregon riders. Notice I said "I don't recall" so lets not go
digging thru the archives for more dirt. I love Oregon. Lived here since 1988,
and I consider myself a true Oregonian.  The three rides that I have
attended in Oregon have had nothing but the nicest RM, riders and fun people.
Sunriver even tho it is dusty, was a great first ride for me, and I will be back
to it next year on my new mount.

Colleen, and anyone.......My barn door is
always open to anyone wanting to visit this lovely State and ride with me into
some of the best riding anywhere. BTW, Colleen is waaaaayyyyyy cooooool and I
sure wish you would take a trip out here and enjoy riding some mountains that
you don't get in MI.

Definitely time to honor Steph's request,
repeated request and lets move  on with a good note about how cool I
am.

Well, just one more thing......President Bush
flew over my place today, I was going to saddle up Cruiser and go skinny dipping
in the ponds behind my place and present my most lethal weapon....my 54
year old naked body. But I was afraid that the G-men would think it was some new
terrorist attack and shoot me. So instead, I stood naked outside on my lawn and
waved and then ran for cover. Howdee!
