[RC] More Norco Volunteers - toriandsteve

Instead of my usual vet check/office gofer work at this years Norco
Riverdance Ride I was enticed by Lynne to head up a section of the trail.
Section 4 to be exact. Each trail captain gathers their own volunteers
to help police the trail and keep riders going in the right direction.
Well, all the people I've asked are either doing the ride itself or are
non-committal. So, Lynne and I decided it wouldn't hurt to ask for
    volunteers from Ridecamp.

If anyone wants to come to Norco, but their horse isn't ready to compete,
or if they have a new horse that they want to introduce to camping, or
coming back from injury etc, and if you would like to lend a hand I need
help out on my section of the trail. You will not be out there alone (we
do the buddy system), and you will not be riding the whole time. Most of
the time you're out there will be spent in one spot directing riders.
All volunteers will be given a sack lunch and a T-shirt (you can even get
your shirts early if you want to wear them for the ride). My section of
trail is in the riverbed, so there will be plenty of shade and water for
your horses (lots of forage for the horses to eat too while they're
standing there watching the race go by). Think of this as a great
training opportunity for your horses without the stress of the miles.

Any and all volunteers will be welcome, you don't have to have endurance
horses to do this part - shoot, you don't have to have a horse at all if
you're willing to walk a little ways. Screw the drudgery of crewing,
come work for me! To top it all off you'll get to meet the legendary
Cadillac and you'll be mentioned in as humorous a manner as I can muster
in one of the Braveheart / Chickenshit stories! How can anyone pass that
    up?

Anyone interested please give me holler. Thanks a bunch.
