    I, too was western through and through, but I had to get an english saddle
    because  my horse's strange back conformation just wouldn't take a
    western-treed saddle.  After trying several english saddles, I settled on
    the Arabian Saddle Co. Solstice, and I'm never going back.....now whenever I
    ride with a western saddle (rarely) I feel like I'm riding the saddle
    instead of the horse. (I don't know any better way to explain it.)
