[RC] Safety Stirrups - April Johnson

These stirrups are for Western saddles. Won't keep a kid's foot from sliding through, but it won't catch them on it, either

Anyway, I use Side Step Safety Stirrups. http://www.surerider.com/

I really like them. I bought them off of ebay last year. Ugly color, but they were only $50 (including shipping). I haven't been able to find any more for that price since the seller on ebay quit selling them.

I bought them because my husband was worried about the fact that Tanna seemed to enjoy throwing me and running home. He was worried that I would be dragged along for a different sort of ride. So I bought them to please him. And I liked them! Now I won't give them up. They've got a nice wide base and the "arm" gives if I fall. I wish I could have a different color. But I'm too cheap to go buy a better color for $99.

I recently bought an Abetta Endurance saddle. First thing I did was strip the basic stirrups off and replace them with my side step ones.
