Ridecamp: [RC] kid's an End. rider

Gotta tell this. >g< (yeah, know I've been on here all evening...school
started this week and this was my first free time for RC...and it's
*raining*)

Took my 12 year old Endurance Rider daughter to get her physical for
school sports today.  First she's filling out the form and pauses at the
blank for "sex".  She looked at me and I thought she was embarassed at
the word. Instead she said, "I keep starting to write gelding">g<  

Next the doctor offered her a sample of some pills to try for exercise
enduced asthma since she sometimes has trouble breathing during a tough
basketball game.  When we were in the car on the way home she said, "I'm
afraid to take them."  I explained that there were no known side effects,
but she was adament,   "What if I get caught and get in trouble?"  She's
got AERC's zero drug policy drilled in her brain. >g< She'll probably be
the only volleyball player with kneepads and a helmet. :-)
