Ridecamp: Re: [RC] West nile virus vaccine

I live in Orlando, FL and my mare is boarded close by in Apopka.  I am praying that she won't contract anything before the immunizations have time to take effect.  An interesting note is:  my vet said that (I believe it was Pfizer) paid almost all of the vet bills in a case where the vaccine broke and a horse contracted West Nile.  So that is why I am having her give the shots and not just buying them from her and giving them myself.
