[RC] National Trails Grid System - goearth

Hello, Karen sent me a most interesting website that i looked into and responded to that tho different from the AERC current points, mileages and placing is the reason i got into Endurance.  The people here are going thru Life Changing Long Distance Rides thruout the world now and they list stories that tell the History of this endeavor.  CuChullaine O'Reilly has accumulated 400 pages on this site and its the most comphrehensive site on the web devoted to Long Distance Horse Riding.  They do not share the love for competition... but LONG Rides.  It appears that within the world, the USA does not have an adequate Grid System of Trail that Long Riders can Traverse.  I think it important to change that and i told him that i would be interested because this group of people could have really assisted us on our V2B ride that was cancelled due to 119. CuChullaine' e-mail is: equestrianexplorer@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx  his websites are: www.longridersguild.comhistory_of_equestrian_travelhtm and another is:
www.horsetravelbooks.com.. We all share this love of the horse and the freedom of the trail and we need to get it together.  Australia, Canada and Poland do have this grid but unfortunately the USA does not. Check out his websites and better yet contact him and offer your support.  tom sites
