Many years back, so far back it has become a legend, Yakima
Canute, a bronc rider in big rodeos, got into trouble
because he came out of the chute riding a bronc backwards
and rode it to a stand still that way. I heard he won that
day but caught hell for the trick.

When I was a teen the front page of the local paper
had a photo of me doing that.  Musta been a slow news
day. ;)

Normally, I'm far more secure riding bareback than
with a saddle.  I'm sure it comes from all those years
of doing anything and everything bareback.  And I'm
far from tall with long legs.
