Ridecamp: Re: [RC] Helmets

To all who subscribe to the John Wayne theory:  I argued, harassed, and was
a general nuisance to my husband for several years before I persuaded him to
wear a helmet.  Fortunately, he now wears one.  He had a nice little
concussion once before he started wearing a helmet.  Even THAT didn't
persuade him.  But I just kept at it until he gave in.  I'm not usually that
sort of person, but I couldn't stand the thought of having him badly hurt
from a fall.  At least a helmet helps to some degree.   My Troxel Sport is
light and comfortable, and I usually don't remember I have it on, even after
I return home from a ride.
