We all make choices, for better or worse.  I dislike wearing a helmet as
much as Drin, and always always always wear one.  However, here's a strange
twist - I used to team rope (you know - chase steers) and if I ever did that
again, I'd want to wear my good old cowboy hat, not a helmet.  But that was
on quarterhorses, not these frickin space alien Arabians...

Not to let another beautiful opportunity slip away, here's one for Martha
Stewart:

OK I"ll bite :-)  I am a non helmet person , my choice , my decision . My
reason is that I cannot stand wearing one , I have tried alot of them on and
they still bother me no matter what the style or weight . I do not wear
sunglasses  for the same reason . I really did try for a couple of years to
wear the
helmet but finally just started leaving it in my trailer . I grew up
rodeoing and it was
mandatory to wear a cowboy hat in the arena , that also bothered me so I
would lightly set it on my head and about the second stride in the arena
shake my
head and lose the hat . So that is my reasoning ....right or wrong its my
decision .
