This is what's in Endurance News:

    March 14 &15 2003
    Hotel reseervations 423-756-0002

Wherever you call, I'd make sure they're on the shuttle bus route. The
"sight seeing friendly" area of town has an old train station that is an
outlet mall, the Aquariam (largest freshwater Aquariam...you start at the
top of this huge building as if you're in the upper mountains and walk
through the exhibits ending up in the gulf as the music and plants change
to suit the local), The riverboat cruises, and a riverpark that stretches
along side the Tennessee River. As part of the river walk there is the
old Walnut Street Bridge. It was once a major bridge over the Tennessee
River but was closed to auto traffic. They restored it and turned it
into a "park" itself. It's lit up at night and people walk and jog on it
back and forth over the river. It's considered a safe area for couples
at night and goes across to a sort of artsy district on the other side
where there is another park "Coolidge Park" which has a gorgeous indoor
Carousel that you ride for $1. The place that made the carousel horses
is local (but world famous) and they're beautifully hand carved in wood.
You can visit or stay at the "Chattanooga Choo Choo" which is the big
train station from Chattanooga's Rail Road prime. It has gardens and you
can sleep in a train car. It was considered the finest place in town but
the new Trade Center has stolen its thunder. Personally, I'd stay where
the Convention is and split the room if I needed to lower rates because
there's always so much to do and you want to be where everyone else is.
