RE: [RC] Vet Card - Cunningham, Marci
I completed Tevis in 1993 and sometime shortly after going over Cougar Rock, one of the snaps from my horse's breast collar to the saddle broke and the ride card bag holding my vet card fell off. I didn't realize it until later down the trail so when I got to Robinson's Flat I explained what happened and was given another card. They just recorded the info from Robinson's to the finish on the new card. There was no problem in getting a new card at that point in the ride. That was when the ride returned vet cards along with the list of all the finishers and it is still in my scrap book with all my other Tevis memorabilia.
