Have to comment on these two statements about riding
with weapons. I would only recommend riding with a weapon if riding
alone. I agree with the statement above about carrying it on the
right or left side, (or ankle) never the back. I parted company
with my horse and I landed on my back with my fanny pack which held a
cell phone. I ended up with such a bad injury that the Dr. said I
was looking at a YEAR to recover! Another person with this same
injury is now looking at living the rest of his life using a bag for a
bathroom. Any hard objects that could possibly end up at your back
in a fall should be avoided at all costs.
