"Dog training and horse training are two separate things altogether. Some things are similiar but one is a predator, one is prey. They act different cause they are different. Dogs are driven by food/and/or love stimulus."

Not entirely. The book I refered to, "Don't Shoot the Dog", is NOT, despite it's title, about dog training: it is about operant conditioning/positive reinforcement and how it can be used for all species, including humans. The author, Karen Prior, started off training dolphins.
Many people have applied 'clicker training' (another name for the technique) to horses: see the book "Clicker Training Your Horse". I'm posting this because I really don't want people to skip over this great book because they think it is just a dog training book - it isn't! And the techniques is applicable to all species.
