RE: [RC] Day of the Horse: Bill No. ACR 175 - Bob Morris

It is another meaningless "feel good" political ploy to
attract attention that will be forgotten within seconds
    after being voted upon.

Something to show that all cultures are recognized (Chinese,
this time) and no effort is spared to interweave them into a
society that knows little or nothing of why the act was
    performed.

It's great that horses are to receive the recognition they
    so richly
deserve, but will the same government agencies proclaiming
    the Day of the
Horse allow horsemen to ride on public lands, or will these
    agencies
continue to close off trails to horses? Perhaps the
    proclamation will be a
good step in the right direction for horsemen? Or is this
    just a political
    boondoggle meant to appease us?
