Hey I resemble that remark. I have been duckfooted my whole life and it just carries over to my riding. Never could get the hang of pointing my toes straight because then my knees hurt too much.  I spent years trying to walk with my toes forward (mother nagging) and had knee problems as a result.  After giving up on that, the knee problems resolved never to return (knock on wood).  But, then again, my knees don't point out so maybe it is a lower leg crockedness (YEEGADS, that is something I wouldn't tolerate in a horse)   :)
