Just a reminder to those folks who use a running martingale. Please remember 
to use rein stops on your reins. The possibility of the running martingale 
ring sliding down and hooking on the bit or rein snap is a great one and I 
have heard of horses flipping over in panic. And remember that when properly 
adjusted, the martingale ring should be about wither height when pulled 
upward so that the rein will make a straight line from bit to hand. It is not 
a head setting device.
