Opinion on front base narrow Arab

Kathy Adams Kathy.Adams@na.biomerieux.com
A friend is looking at a 10 yr. old Arab mare (Talisman Bey daughter)for
moderate paced LD's. The mare has very nice conformation and attitude.
However she is base narrow in the front. At the trot she almost crosses
over her front feet. She has not been ridden a whole lot, but has no
interfernce marks (old or new) on her front legs.Excellent feet I mioght
add. She has been barefoot her whole life. She is very reasonably priced
for her lineage. She has had one baby who does not appear to be base
narrow. What is the concensus on the success of this horse to do moderate
paced LD's. Thanks in advance. Kathy in NC
