Re: [RC] Advice--Horse Kicking in Trailer - Kathy & Mike Kelly

Boy, have I been there.  The first year I had Gabriel he really kicked the heck out of my trailer.  Once going down a rough road to a CTR, the people behind me reported that my horse must be very athletic to be bucking like that in a moving trailer.  Didn't feel much like a complement :)

Everything changed after I took some natural horsemanship clinics with him (from a local guy who studied under Parelli for 7 yrs).  He completely stopped kicking in the trailer at the same time.  It wasn't any specific thing that we'd learned, I really believe it just changed the way we interacted with eachother and we were both happier.
