     I should mention that this  is =
    > not fear. She loads right in and when she's with a buddy, doesn't do 
    this. 
    
    I had a couple of thoughts. I've hauled a lot of horses for different
    people cured a few scramblers etc.  First...do you always haul her on the
    same side?  I hauled one small QH for some pony clubbers and any time
    they hauled in company they hauled with "Bo" who was loaded first on the
    left.  When they hauled alone they put the mare on the left.  She
    scrambled like a demon when in company, not alone.  Turned out she just
    preferred to ride on the left.  They develop a favorite side to lean on.
