    I have one (v. cool design too--chili peppers) and I love it :-)
    I live in Northern California on the coast where it never gets hot but if we go just a few hours inland to a ride I'm always *really* happy that I have my little neck cooler!

    There are crystals in the neck coolers that form a gel when they get wet.  I have even put them on my grandchildren & have not had anyone had a problem from them.  I believe them to be non-toxic.  I also have several different designs in red, white & blue.
