    There are other interesting quirks in the law.  In WI (and I have absolutely
    no idea if any other states have this law ) if you accept any compensation
    for transporting a horse, you must be a licensed livestock hauler.  This
    does include a friend that puts some fuel in your truck in exchange for a
    ride to an endurance ride.
    
    A bit carried away if you ask me.
