Ridecamp: Re: [RC] The Aging Equine Athlete!

All three of my mares are still active endurance participants, the 25  and
17 year olds started at age 5 and the 21 year old started at 15.  I am about
to start another when she turns 5.  I only do one or two 50s at the fifth
year and never bother with 25s.

I think you can take any road, just do not push them too fast or beyond
their limit.
