It depends on the horse.  With my horse, due to the winter coat shedding out, 
it took approximately 2 months but remember he had a winter coat for a good 
period of time while I was using the saddle.  It might or probably will take 
less time in the summer.  As soon as you see one white hair, stop using that 
saddle, because (trust me) more will come even after you stop using it.  The 
one white hair, or two or three, is a sign of and it's protections against 
the pressure that the saddle is causing is those certain areas.  Even though 
he is not sore, the saddle is still pushing much harder on those spots than 
on others.  The dry spots are your clue for you to remedy to situation before 
you get the white hairs.  Did I answer your question?
