    OK, I do more CTR than endurance vetting, but I think the point I'm raising is the same.

    I lose money vetting a ride. If I stay longer, I lose more. I do it because I enjoy the company of the insane.
    I try to stick around as long as possible, but I have to get home too.
    And I have a modest practice--nowhere near as high-powered as some.
    Can most rides afford to substantially increase the compensation for a ride/treatment DVM?
    I would imagine the task would fall to the most local talent, as they'd have to have the requisite equipment for treatment.
