Endurance was more than finishing saturday in Kansas. A huge storm blew into the Smoky River Run at Kanapolis lake in central Kansas. 50 mile an hour winds monsoon rain and cloud to ground lightning made for a very enduring day. Cudoos to the entire management and vet crews, the trail was breathtaking, much more difficult than some expected. Riders from Maine to Texas battled the elements as well as the trail. Endurance was alive and well in the land of oz.  Larry Lewis
