Ridecamp: [RC] Ridecamp

What a mess! Things have been getting downright 'fluffy' lately on
Ridecamp - usually the silly threads run their course, and I've found it's
best not to meddle and make people more nervous about posting. Things got a
little carried away this time I think. I've been doing this for seven years
now!! And have seen just about everything, but I think Howard's farewell
post may be the best bit of Ridecamp drama ever written. Ever. (I bumped him
because he asked for it - but he can resubscribe any time he wants, and/or
use the Guest form).

So  - summer is upon us, ride season is in full swing - let's ease up on the
silliness and use this forum for exchanging endurance information, helping
and educating new riders, results, announcments, news, ride stories (more
ride stories - they're great!). Roger's recent posts have been good - from
the heart and very pertinent to our sport. Plus the post begging the
experienced riders and old-timers to share their knowlege with the newbies -
even if the question has been asked before. This is good stuff.
