[RC] Wine Country Ulcers - Roger Rittenhouse

    FROM Roger Rittenhouse roger@xxxxxxxxxxx

I sent this a few days ago - but sent the WHOLE digest rather then a
    cut paste --

    so here it is again.

Well, I sure was a bit set back by this one. NEVER expected this.
HOWEVER, there has to be a reason, AND a method to control without the
use of this type of drug.
I really cannot see how an endurance horse that is kept out and not
over worked can come up with ulcers at the percentage found here.
Has to be how they are kept - stalled or feed .. or some other crap
that is messing with the digestion process.

I have not read all the posts yet. Will be interesting to hear from
    all.

BUT there is still no way I would compete a horse with ulcers. (IF I
knew he had them) That was why I had mine scoped.
There has to be a way to manage this problem.

RD> I would like to know more; like how many horses participated in the test,=
RD> what the testing involved, and all that. I didn't think too many rider=

RD> More figures, Kathy, please. I believe I'm not alone when I ask for more=
