Also, if you don't use Outlook or Outlook Express for your mail
client, you're less vulnerable to these viruses and worms. I use a
mail client called "Agent" that will not open any attachment or run
any code unless I explicitly tell it to, and it warns if an attachment
is executable, so I don't have to worry about them. Of course, that
also means that when people send me e-mail coded in HTML (the
Microsoft default for sending mail from Outlook), I don't see what
they write, only an icon ... but other than a few from this list, the
only ones of those that I get are spam and I don't mind that I can't
read those.
