[RC] My White Tail Recipe - kathy . mayeda
Hey - this is what I learned from my ex who used to show
his horses at halter:
Shampoo tail with Orvus first. Rinse well.
Apply Quicksilver FULL STRENGTH - let soak for a few
minutes. Rinse. Reapply if necessary (usually is!) Most
of the time, the tail will still look a little dirty
while wet, but looks a lot better once it dries out.
About tar weed: Full strength Orvus works the best for
me to get it out.
I can't be accused of having a clean white horse lately.
Beau is looking pretty grimy right now.
K.
