Re: [RC] horses that kick - SandyDSA

Kind of seems to me that it doesn't take too many brain cells to direct me to stay off of other horses' rear ends. It is one thing to learn to be polite in a competitive situation - whiel passing, in vet checks, etc. It is an entirely different matter to expect a horse not to react when some clod rear ends him or bashes into him in a vet check because the rider was either incompetent or was too busy doing something else to actually PAY ATTENTION to his horse. We have a stallion for cryin' out loud who is such a gentleman everywhere he goes - and I would NEVER punish him for reacting to another horse smashing up into him. Sheesh - most of the time he is half asleep.:)
