Know when to say "I don't know" but be willing to say "but I can find out" 
and mean it!  Plus, don't take any guff from impatient riders.  Some riders 
have enough adrenaline going that normally polite people become pretty 
obnoxiously pushy.  Ask questions if you don't understand something.  Have 
fun, don't let anyone else's bad mood prevent that!  Enjoy your newbie 
status because pretty quickly you won't be one!
