    Re: [RC] Greenies - Agilbxr

I am wondering how you define a "green" horse.  Alpine and I have been to 2 rides.  He's got lots of dressage training.  On our own, we can walk, trot, canter, gallop, etc with nothing but a ring around his neck.  He is kid safe in an arena (NOT on the trails).  On the trails by ourselves he's good, but spooky.  Sometimes at himself.

The two rides Iwent to, I had the raging maniac horse.  So, in anticipation, I tied a ribbon to his tail, started last, and insisted on as slow as possible, which was faster than I wanted to go, and I had the blisters on my hands to prove it (note to self, get leather riding gloves).  I'm sure he's considered green to endurance (and me for that matter), but how are to become un-green unless we ride.  In the meantime, I'm gonna go ride my horse now and see how far he can jump when his tail swishes and hits the palmetto bush!

Juli and Alpine (MONSTERS!  There are MONSTERS in that palmetto!)
