    I agree, Tom.  Because I was a cruelty investigator for years, this original post piqued my interest. I offered to help (I have contacts in cruelty investigation all over the country from the National Academy I attended) but was not contacted by the original poster.
     
    It has been my experience that in highly emotional issues, the facts sometimes get blurred, and there may be something else going on.  Slander and libel are BIG issues and can get one in some pretty hot water.
