    ROFL! Whuff! I DID that...on Sunny's first ride! That's why I now use
    paste electrolytes! I can even GIVE them at a trot...well, at least a
    SLOW trot! :) I lost so much salt the grass probably won't grow on that
    trail for 2 years! Had to borrow electrolytes to finish the ride.
    
    See, Angie, if you had used one of those spring loaded dog leashs on
    your sponge like I recommended, it would have automatically retracted
    when you let go of it ! <grin>
