Rescue Remedy is NOT an amphetamine--- nor does it "hype" up a horse. We 
were discussing "healing energy." That's all. In fact, some posters felt 
it relaxed them rather than made them hyper. It does not mask injuries 
nor illnesses and my suggestion was not to use it on sick, unconditioned 
horses nor injured horses. My suggestion was to optimize the horse's 
health. Confusion always occurs when you come in late on something or 
read something out of context. I totally agree with you--- nothing 
should be given a horse entering competition to TREAT an injury or 
problem--- the horse should not be entered. If the horse injures himself 
or encounters a problem in the competition, I agree, the horse should be 
pulled first before giving TREATMENT. I was not advocating the use of 
homeopathics for TREATMENT of horses while entered in competition--- 
only as prophylactics -- to insure optimum wellness. Quite a difference! 
Hope this clears up the misunderstanding.
