One year, we bought the biggest pair of colorful boxer shorts that we could find, and I embroidered (fabric-painting would be much easier) the ride name, mileage, year, and "Tail End Award" across the backside of them.  I know the rider that won them really cherished them....

A couple years ago a good friend donated prizes to our ride for the Turtle Award...They were a case of bottled water and a stone that she had painted the following:  "Dead @$$ Last Award".  Very cute and was something that the rider could use plus it was inexpensive (water was useful and inexpensive, the rock was free...).
