Title: RE: Long Slow Distance
Hope the rider was as tired as his horse:))  I know I wouldn't want to hand walk my horse that many miles several days in a row.  I have found actual commraderie and better feelings from DeeDee when I do get off and walk with her a bit.  She looks at me as a friend and not just someone out for a ride.  Wish I could read her mind....on the other hand, maybe not:))

I have to admit that we were all taken aback by this, but this guy is an experienced rider with many multi-days under his belt.  I think he was on foot most of the time.  The horse ended up tired, but looked real good the next day.  Don’t recommend this for everyone, though.  I wouldn’t do it myself.
