Re: RC: Swiss Boots (Was EZ Boots)

I have used Swiss boots on rocky rides and so far they
haven't rubbed my horse at all. I did get them fitted
by a swiss boot fitter...but as it turned out her hoof
fit the stock boots and he didn't have to do any
modification on them. The part that goes past the
hairline dosn't actually touch the horse..atleast on
my horse it dosn't. I have about 200 training miles on
my swiss boots , have riden through muddy bogs,
slippery wet rock, deep sand, and streams and they
have stayed on with out any rubbing. Traction is not
as good as barefoot but no better than EZ boots and a
lot better than shoes. I love how easy they are to put
on and while it takes a bit of effort to remove it's
nothing like the effort involved with foamed on EZ
boots!!! It's definatly a viable alternative to EZ
boots for barefoot horses.

Penny
