If you'd seen my first post on this, I talked to an Ariat sales rep. at Equine Affair in Springfield, MA. last November. They couldn't care less. I have emailed Ariat twice about the size issue and received no response. I like the boots very much and have not noticed the quality issue. I only by the top of the line boots (Performer Pro and now Hexcel Pro) so some of the problems posted here may be with the lower quality boots. However, it must be said that Ariat's "low end" boots cost $100!
