Anita, I'm not sure that even the company has good figures on efficacy, since this is such an incidious disease that it is very difficult to tell if it has been "prevented" in vaccinated test animals.  Keep in mind that even though it is a very terrible disease when it occurs, it is also one of the most overdiagnosed diseases of our time, so one really has a hard time telling what the odds of getting it are, even without vaccination.  I've not heard much negative about the vaccine in terms of bad reactions, but then I don't know that a lot of it has been given.  This is one that I'd reserve in the "wait-and-see" category unless I had very pressing reasons to use it.
