Thanks again Susan for a very complete answer.  I always forget that the
grain is just a small percentage of the total ration.  Especially as my
horse only gets 3lbs. grain total for the day.  Which also probably means
that even though the feed has the vits and minerals included I may not be
feeding enough of the feed to give her what she needs on a daily basis from
the feed alone and may still need a vit.supplement.  I'll have to check the
bag and  see how much feed is necessary to provide the minimum daily
requirements.
